Over the past years, Yahoo! has been a consistent contender in being the top search engine used world wide. Though Google takes the most share of internet users and searchers, Yahoo! continues to strive and offer more and better search experience. Recently, an all new Yahoo! homepage with improved layout, design, features and overall usability has been launched.

Yahoo! still has everything that we love about it plus more! The Yahoo! engineers that worked on the new design tells their story in this video:

Video About New Homepage of Yahoo!

The new Yahoo! is designed to serve as the only website that you’ll ever need. First of all, Yahoo! takes a step in being a social website by allowing its users to set a status and share it to their friends. Your details are not only visible to other people but you are also searchable through them. You can now also add other websites that you love to your favorites whether it’s from Yahoo! or not.

Yahoo! claims that their new homepage is specifically designed for the people with a great improvement in usability and functions that allow them to personalize it. Above all improvements, the main focus of their redesign has been on the speed of their website. Now you can have access to everything that you need on one page in a blazing speed! If you want access to your favorite websites, breaking news, videos or photos, Yahoo is now your ideal homepage.

I’m so tired of YaHell and their DID [dissociative identity disorder]. They never ever leave well enough alone.

Yahoo’s way of making things better is to make things worse for the customers.

    Yahoo drives me nuts.

They closed down the clubs, then screwed up the message boards, then never got Y!360 right so…they closed it down.

I can’t stand Yahoo, they make me crazy.

This tirade is coming from your everyday non-computer-geek person.

Just keep things simple is all I say.
